The truth about why we can handle more stress when we work on ourselves.

Is it really that we are able to “take on more” or is it something else?

The answer? A little bit of both.

People think that when they do transformational work they can take on more stress. The truth is that this type of work does not just allow you to take on more stress, it allows you to be much less affected by it. Transformational work is powerful.

Typically, the stress comes from all the things you think you “should” be doing. For instance:

  • what you think others want you to do
  • what you believe is “right”
  • because you want to please
  • because you want to control or
  • because of expectations you think others – or society – has for you.

This is just to name a few.

It can be easy to get caught in all the stories that these beliefs and deep programs create. By stories I mean what is unfolding in front of your eyes; it is YOUR experience of life.

So if there is drama, chaos or lack in your life, it stems from the programs and beliefs you have in place that dictates how you will handle the situations and events in your life.

By doing transformational work, you work on these exact programs. When you move through the process of changing the core drivers of your experience and replace it with programs that are inspiring, empowering, liberating and aligned with the real YOU, you will not experience drama or chaos.

It is simply not there anymore.

This also frees a lot of energy that you were previously spending on repeating stories in your head, energy you were using to defend your point of view or stand your ground and energy that you were using to convince others.

By doing transformational work and releasing what is keeping you trapped, you have more mental and emotional space and energetically there is more flow.

You can stand strong in your new way of being because it is now aligned with the REAL YOU. There is a magic that emerges from this alignment and you gain clarity and confidence.

Having these two elements allows you to be unaffected by what is going on around you the same way it did before. What triggered you prior to your transformation is not even perceived as a threat or attack anymore. The outside world is simply that… something outside of you. You will not “take on” or “take things personal” anymore. What was causing the stress or pressure is either gone or it will take much more chaos or drama to get to you…
